Digital Champions in the Community

We have recruited people of all ages and backgrounds to become Digital Champion Volunteers to help support with digital skills to the people of Salford.

We have enthusiastic friendly people from across the city of Salford, who have an understanding of basic digital skills, to share with others. By providing fellow residents with support, we will be able to teach them important digital skills like online banking, being safe online, aware of possible scams and the ability to communicate with their friends and family.

With the support from Barclays Digital Eagles we are able to offer a bespoke training course to our volunteers to support them to become the best Digital Volunteer they can. Our first cohort of volunteers have now completed their training and are ready to deliver support in the community.
