Digital Volunteers

We need you banner

We have recruited people of all ages and backgrounds to become Digital Champion Volunteers to help support with digital skills to the people of Salford.

What it means to be a volunteer

A volunteer is a person who gives their time and energy to a cause they are passionate about without expecting anything in return, they do this out of the goodness of their heart and often to better themselves. A good volunteer always ends their tasks happy and feeling proud that they have been able to help others.

Our Volunteers

Collaborating with Salford CVS, we have recruited enthusiastic friendly people from across the city of Salford, who have an understanding of basic digital skills, to share with others. By providing fellow residents with support, we will be able to teach them important digital skills like online banking, being safe online, aware of possible scams and the ability to communicate with their friends and family.

With the support from Barclays Digital Eagles we are able to offer a 12 week training course (one hour a week) to our volunteers to support them to become the best Digital Volunteer they can.

Our places have been filled, but if you are interested in becoming a Digital Champion Volunteer in the future please follow the link below to show your interest and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Please note we only accept candidates who are over the age of 18.
