Men's Mental Health Awareness - 2024

November is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month

This November marks Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to shedding light on the unique mental health challenges that men face. Traditionally, mental health discussions have often overlooked the specific pressures men experience, from societal expectations of stoicism and strength to the stigma surrounding vulnerability. Men are less likely to seek help for mental health issues, leading to higher rates of suicide, substance abuse, and untreated mental health conditions.

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month aims to challenge these norms and encourage open conversations about mental well-being. It's a time to break down barriers, educate communities, and provide men with the resources and support they need to thrive mentally and emotionally.

Partner Spotlight

This month we're putting the spotlight on a few of our Digital Provider Network partner organisations that are doing incredible work to raise awareness and offer support for men’s mental health. These organisations are committed to creating spaces where people can talk openly, seek help, and find the support they deserve. Through their digital services, they aim to reach and help people by offering essential skills, raising awareness, and providing a lifeline to empower individuals within the community.
