Exciting Funding Opportunity for VCSE Organisations in Salford!

Salford City Council, in collaboration with Salford CVS, is thrilled to announce a new funding opportunity for Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations. As part of the innovative Connect 15 programme, small grants ranging from £250 to £500 are available to help local organisations enhance digital inclusion and support their communities.

About the Connect 15 Programme

The Connect 15 programme is dedicated to improving digital inclusion across Salford. By expanding digital skills spaces, engaging with residents, and developing Digital Champion services, the programme aims to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get connected and stay connected. This initiative is funded by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

About the Digital Inclusion Fund

Salford-based VCSE organisations are invited to apply for these small grants to support various digital initiatives. The funding can be used to:

  1. Improve Digital Skills: Help participants gain confidence in using digital tools and technologies through sessions and workshops.
  2. Support Intergenerational Digital Learning: Create activities that bring younger and older participants together to learn from each other.
  3. Utilise Innovative Technologies: Propose creative ways to use Virtual Reality headsets and Echo Show 5's available at Connect 15 centres.
  4. Support Wellbeing and Inclusion: Enhance access to health and wellbeing services online, using technologies to support independent living.
