About them

Safe in Salford is a partnership of four charities—Salford Foundation, TDAS, TLC, and The Pankhurst Trust—with over 140 years of combined experience supporting communities across Salford and surrounding areas. The partnership works collaboratively to improve outcomes for those affected by domestic abuse through awareness, education, and tailored support.

Support is delivered through five key services:

  • Crisis support via Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs)
  • Advice and guidance for victims
  • Specialist GP support (IRIS programme)
  • Children and young people’s services (Harbour)
  • Behaviour change programmes for perpetrators
  • Safe in Salford offers practical help and information to empower individuals and families to make informed choices and recover from harm.
