About them

Community Little Hulton is a vibrant local charity rooted in the heart of Little Hulton, Greater Manchester. Run by local people for local people, the organisation is dedicated to inspiring young people and uniting the community to enhance everyone’s wellbeing.

With a membership of over 1,000 individuals, Community Little Hulton offers a wide range of inclusive services and activities. These include a weekly food club where members can access essential groceries at affordable prices, as well as a nappies, milk, and wipes service for families with young children. Social connection is at the core of their work, with regular groups such as a weekly games club and the popular “It’s Thursday!” social group.

The charity also runs the Youth Unity Youth Club, offering weekly sessions for children aged 8–11 and 11–16, alongside forest school and gardening programmes in local schools. Community cooking sessions and other hands-on initiatives further support local engagement and wellbeing.

In 2025, Community Little Hulton celebrated the grand opening of its new permanent home at Peel Park Pavilion—a milestone made possible through community fundraising and collaboration with partners like Access Sport and Foundation92. This space now serves as a central hub for activities, events, and support services.
