About them
Connexions provide careers information, advice, guidance and support to young people aged 16-18 and can arrange to see you at a range of venues across Salford to help with careers, jobs and training.
Depending on individual requirements, Connexions can offer
- A named local careers adviser or engagement coach
- Regular contact by a range of means including face to face, phone, text, e-mail and social media
- Skills assessment
- Employability skills
- Referrals to local training providers for courses, traineeships and apprenticeships
- Job search and applications to local vacancies and opportunities
- CV and job application advice and support
- Interview preparation
- Referrals to partner and specialist services
- Under 18s benefits support
- Transition support once a young person starts a new opportunity
