About them

U3A are a thriving charitable organisation which provides opportunities for learning, staying active and having fun in later life.

They offer more than thirty-five interest groups. Some involve outdoor activity (our Walking groups are especially popular), some are more cerebral (such as Local History and our Book Clubs), and others are quite definitely social (Luncheons, Theatre and Concerts). Whatever your interests, you are sure to find a group to join where you can discuss, learn and socialise with a really friendly and welcoming group of people. We all share our skills and life experiences.
