Salford Loaves and Fishes
About them
Salford Loaves and Fishes is a registered charity, a company limited by guarantee, bringing together a wealth of experience and expertise in working with the homeless and vulnerable.
Its beginnings go back to the Salford Cathedral Drop-in Centre and Salford Loaves and Fishes was formed to carry on this valuable work with homeless and vulnerable people. Salford Loaves and Fishes teamed up with Manchester City Mission, who, after consultation with the local community, identified a need in the local area for a drop-in centre offering provision for homeless and vulnerable people. In February 2007, Salford Loaves and Fishes and Manchester City Mission formed a collaborative working relationship and launched the Windsor Drop-in Centre which continued until April 2016.
Salford Loaves and Fishes now operate in our newly renovated building located on Paddington Close in the heart of residential and commercial Salford. As an organisation we rely on the support of a number of corporate benefactors and tremendous support from private individuals.
Our Christian ethos ensures an unconditionally positive, accepting and non-judgmental approach and strives to support clients in reaching their full potential. Our centre is open to people of all faiths or none and strives to be inclusive.
